On a Day Like This.

Good things are happenin' people; life is good! Get's even better when you got some good music to listen to. San Francisco based Meklit Hadero is a little bit Feist, Norah Jones, and a wee bit Cesaria Evora all jumbled into one syrupy-voiced chanteuse. She's getting more and more momentum so you'll probably be hearing about her all over the place! Check out the vids below and mellow out...you only live once! Recollection: Norah Jones

When Norah Jones released her first album Come Away with Me, I was smitten. I probably listened to that album a million times before it wore out. She's released a number of albums since then but none have really had the widespread success of the first. I'm blogging about her now because I think her music deserves some respect. It's soulful, bluesy and signature Norah Jones. Here are some standout tracks that require some attention, check 'em.
